Greetings and welcome to the Real Estate Entrepreneur Podcast; I am your host Peter Lorimer, former hit record producer, now the host of the show Stay Here on Netflix, and Owner/Founding Partner of Corcoran Global Living.
In my final podcast of 2020, a year that will live in infamy for us all, a year that has had many dark moments, I wanted to pick through the pile of negative debris to find a message of growth, hope, and above all a determination to prevail.
I shot this video on the most poignant day, the day when the first shots for the Covid vaccine were first administered, a day of light I wanted to share my thoughts on where I believe 2021 shall go.
I maybe annoyingly optimistic all the time but I truly believe to my bones the best is yet to come. With love from my family to yours in this holiday season, I wish you all the very best, and thanks for being part of the rebellion.
With love from my family to yours in this holiday season and thanks for being part of the rebellion ❤️ Pete x and Happy Holidays!

2021 is looming right around the corner, and I always use December to rewire my mind for the upcoming year. I use this time to audit my success and failure of the current year and snap into the mindset of next year so I can hit the ground running at 1000 mph on Jan 1.
Let's get into this week's episode of The Real Estate Entrepreneur. Stay tuned to the end of the podcast as I giveaway one of my golden tips that I have deployed for 17 years for amazing results.
Golden Nuggets from this episode:
[01:33] "We're always searching. We're always searching for knowledge. I am. I look at YouTube every single day. I read articles. I listened to podcasts. I have a thirst for knowledge and so that I can hone my craft and become a better professional at what I am in my case, I do real estate and a dabble a bit in TV."
[02:38] "I'm here to tell you that you are your own best mentor."
[03:43] "Work is phenomenally important, but it is nowhere near as important as your mind and your health. You got to start exercising."
[08:11] "Sometimes it can be a little hard to get hold of people in December, but remember December is going full tilt, auditing, gathering the information."

Greetings and welcome to the Real Estate Entrepreneur Podcast; I am your host Peter Lorimer, former hit record producer, now the host of the show Stay Here on Netflix, and Owner/Founding Partner of Corcoran Global Living LA.
2020 has been the most chaotic year that I can remember. And with chaos there is opportunity. Today’s podcast dives into how to serve your buyers and investors during the most chaotic part of the year.
By fusing together a global pandemic, polarized Election, a second wave of Covid, and interest rates for investment properties that are the lowest I have ever seen this creates the perfect mix of opportunity. I share with you some of my thoughts to take advantage of this market at the end of the year. Naturally, we are not in the business of taking advantage of people who may be suffering from the virus as we must take care of each other first. However, there are may well be people who want to sell because maybe they’re leaving the state who might be open to selling at more of a deal than they would be once the future becomes clear.
Alright, let's get into this week's Real Estate Entrepreneur Podcast.
Golden Nuggets from this episode:
[03:14] "The best time to sell is always spring into summer, regardless of where you are, even if you're up in cold, snowy, Winnipeg."
[05:05] "when there is confusion or not confusion, but when the future is a little bit opaque, that's when I'm like, bam, let's go out, let's go shopping.”
[05:53] "as an investor or someone that wants to pick up a second home as an investment, for example, you can now storm into the battlefield of confusion and get the sexiest rate I have ever seen in 17 years, ladies and gentlemen, it really doesn't. This is a no brainer."

I just took the largest leap of faith in my career in real estate. So I thought it poignant to take you through the road map of how I took the monumental step of partnering my company PLG Estates with Corcoran Global Living. There were many sleepless nights but ultimately I leaned into self-belief and trusting my new company which is key to any partnership and jumped! Let's get to it, thanks for tuning into this week's Real Estate Entrepreneur Podcast.
Golden Nuggets of this episode:
[02:12] "I only ever get 65% of the way there, the rest of it is in the words of Richard Branson: - 'Screw it. Let's do it.' "
[02:46] "If you are a business owner, the North Star is always your people."
[06:18] "For me playing in the middle, kind of playing in the middle area has never been something that's attracted me."
[08:29] "when you are a business owner or a real estate agent, or you're planning a move, it's almost like getting married."

Keep losing out as a buyer agent? This week's podcast is focused dead centre on the relentless and swiftly moving real estate market. Well, I have a mind-blowing buyers agent tool, the escalation clause, which I used recently and beat out 26 other buyers on a glorious property here in good old Los Angeles.
Grab a chair and tune in to this week's episode of The Real Estate Entrepreneur Podcast. Be sure to stay till the end as there is a nuanced secret twist to using the escalation clause at the end.
Golden Nuggets from this episode:
03:39] “As a listing agent, I would write a counter offer changing some of the terms that I want.”
[04:21] “So the escalation cause is the following, you need to sit with your buyer, and you need to find out how much headroom they have to go.”
[06:33] “If you really want to make sure that you get it, you can do an escalation cause with no endpoint”

How to embrace a more meaningful and sincere approach when reaching out to potential clients?
